Many aftermarket ATV performance accessories can really boost the way you can use your ATV and they can also allow you to use the machine through more months of the year than you usually do.
If you are looking for a way to improve your ATVs performance then you need to look at things like aftermarket pipes, performance cams, high compression pistons, high performance air filters and more.
Performance piping are accessories that work with both four stroke and two stroke ATVs. By updating the market pipes that come equipped on your ATV when you purchase it, you can actually increase the performance up to 10 to 15 percent. Be careful what type of pipes you get for your four stroke engine. Not all of the aftermarket pipes you can get for this type of engine will improve performance, but there are plenty on the market that can. You will need to modify the jetting on your ATV when you replace the pipes; this includes the air  box so that the airflow moves better. Switch your filter to a gauze filter instead of a foam one to get a better flow rate. When you do this, you will need to keep an eye on the air filter and make sure that it is always cleaned and changed at least once a year. Foam filters tend to dry out and the pleats in the gauze filter will bend, so always make sure that your air filter is in top condition.
